Job Summary:
Our client is looking for a Renewable Energy Engineer who will assume a crucial position in the conception, implementation, and supervision of diverse renewable energy initiatives. Combining theoretical expertise with practical field proficiency, He/She will guarantee the efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and durability of installations.
Responsibilities:
- Design and size renewable energy systems that match clients' requirements and the local environment.
- Lead electrical system design and sizing, ensuring compatibility and safety. - Design switch gear configurations and distribution panel layouts.
- Use AutoCAD to create single-line diagrams, as-built drawings, and other necessary design documents.
- Spend approximately 50% of -me on-site, managing and supervising installation teams. - Ensure quality and safety standards are upheld during all installed-on processes.
- Diagnose and rectify any issues with installed systems, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Design systems that optimize energy consumption and deliver consistent performance.
- Independently manage and lead teams, driving them towards project milestones.
- Conduct training and skill development sessions for junior staff and field teams.
- Ensure all designs, changes, and troubleshooting steps are properly documented for future reference and compliance.
- Experience with diesel generators.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field. - Proven experience in renewable energy system design.
- Expertise in AutoCAD. - Extensive field installed-on experience in renewable energy systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, switch gear design, and distribution panels.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex renewable energy systems.
