Key Account Manager Renewable Energy

The position is offered on a Hybrid working basis with travel to our Munich office as required.
What you will do
As Key Account Manager – Renewable Energy, you’ll play a pivotal role in growing our Green Energy business in Germany. By effectively managing key accounts and nurturing client relationships, you’ll play a crucial role in driving revenue growth, fostering customer loyalty, and achieving business success.
Business Development: identify and engage with new customers, both direct and indirect e.g. installers, distributors.
Build and Maintain Client Relationships: cultivate strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs, providing exceptional service, and addressing concerns promptly.
Developing Account Strategies: creating and executing strategic plans to maximize sales opportunities, increase market share, and achieve revenue targets within assigned accounts.
Negotiating Contracts and Agreements: negotiating terms, pricing, and contracts with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements aligned with company objectives.
Monitoring Market Trends: keeping abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
What you need to succeed
- Proven track record within sales, gained within the renewable energy or related industries
- Deep understanding of renewable energy technologies, market dynamics, and customer preferences
- Existing network of contacts within the German renewable energy market, including distributors, wholesalers, and retailers
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends to inform strategies
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Fluency in German is essential and as well as working knowledge of English
- Willingness to travel extensively within Germany to meet clients, attend industry events, and visit distribution partners
- There will be some requirement to support customers in other markets or travel within Europe to support at trade shows or other events
