This position will be working in a distribution center environment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to unpacking material, assembly, packing, testing, reworking
Essential Duties:
- Must be able to perform basic warehouse/manufacturing functions
- Ability to use essential tools and equipment and operate various equipment
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to read and interpret, assembly drawings and manufacturing work instructions
- Must possess a strong work ethic, be able to work with limited supervision and meet
requirements of the attendance policy - Must perform all functions of the job in a safe and professional manner
- Must keep work area(s) in neat, clean, safe and orderly condition
- Other tasks/responsibilities as assigned
- Able to work in a team-oriented environment
- Basic Computer skills for elemental transactions on a PC or mobile device such as RF guns
- Actively participate in 5S activities
- Flexibility within warehouse functions
- May be assigned other duties as needed
Qualifications:
- GED/High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience and knowledge of warehouse operations, methods, and procedures
- Forklift Certification preferred but not required.
- 40-hour work week / overtime as needed to fulfill requirements of position.
- Attention to detail required.
- Flexibility and versatility to carry out tasks as assigned by lead/supervisor/manager.
- Strong sense of urgency.
- Able to follow both written and verbal instructions.
- Punctuality & good attendance is a must.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up, push, pull up to 40 lbs through out the shift
- Able to stand continuously for extended periods of time
- Must be comfortable standing, sitting, bending, lifting, and walking without restriction repeatedly over the course of a shift.
- Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled warehouse environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
- Steel-toe shoes required
The U.S. compensation for this full-time position is $19.50 per hour plus a Performance Award for candidates located within the U.S. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
