What to expect:
- Development and implementation of requirements and change management for battery management systems (BMS)
- Definition of functional architecture
- Creation of functional descriptions and interfaces for electric powertrain systems/components
- Concept development for specifications at the system/subsystem level (including powertrain/battery/motor)
- Development, evaluation, and mapping of model-based (vehicle platform) requirements
- Modeling and simulation of electric powertrain systems
- Organization of coordination meetings
- Tracking requirements and change requests
- Implementation of an agile work structure, e.g., Scrum
- Evaluation & analysis of use cases at the system/vehicle level
- Ensuring compliance with system requirements, components, and test coverage
- Development of new system technologies as research projects
- Adjustment of electrical component requirements to the system for efficiency enhancement
- Monitoring and coordination of suppliers
What you bring along:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar
- At least 3 years of battery management systems (BMS) experience in industry or university projects
- Solid practical experience in requirements, change, and release management with Codebeamer (or IBM DOORS)
- Good MATLAB/ Simulink skills
- Practice in model-based software development
- Practical knowledge of Jira, Confluence, or similar
- Know-how with agile working methods (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
- Understanding of vehicle electronics and software architecture
- Knowledge of Modelica, Dymola, Simscape, C++, CANoe, CANalyzer - nice to have
- Fluent English skills
- German is a plus
