Join us as a Sales Intern at Schneider Electric in Las Vegas, NV area. This position is responsible for supporting growth of the Digital Buildings business by independently creating customized estimates for Security, Building Automation Systems (BAS) and HVAC, which provide material costs, associated labor, initial budget and assistance in reviewing final projects, repairs and service agreements. These proposals are often initiated by technician generated recommended repairs, as well as Sales reps. This position is typically held by an individual that has an interest in an Outside Sales career path (e.g. Service Sales Representative).
What will you do?
- Sales Support / Efficiency / Business Process Excellence – Provides technical, commercial and quotation support for Outside Sales, Digital Sales, and Technician teams.
- Drive and grow incremental sales within region and accounts within the business
- Administrate service agreement renewal process, ensuring maximum contract retention and on-time renewals
- Partner with Outside Sales and Digital Sales team as appropriate to further develop and close the opportunities.
- Leads qualification through identifying opportunity and moving sales objectives through the sales process
- Develop technical proposals, detailed scope letters and optimal system designs, prioritize estimates in order to meet sales schedules
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- Pursuing a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Automation, or related STEM fields
- Sales-oriented with strong communication skills, outgoing personality, and upbeat attitude
- A desire to contribute positively to the team and culture of Schneider Electric
- Preferred background in Engineering or Technical field
