We are looking for a passionate, experienced, and skilled Technical Product Owner (Official Title) to support the digital transformation within Schneider Electric’s North America Market (NAM). As a member of NAM Digital and respective program Scrum team you will lead definition, planning and delivering iterative releases of our digital platforms using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). You will work closely with Product management, Solution Architects, Scrum team members, and enabling teams.
The Technical Product Owner (TPO) partners with Product Management team to drive transformation by providing functional expertise and identifying modern technology solutions leveraging industry leading practices. Helps to develop transformation roadmap and identify / quantify value drivers.
What will you do?
- Provide process expertise and drive process standardization.
- Provide leading practice on Design Decisions and drive to resolution with Product Managers/Owners.
- Confirm process scope and required customizations with Product Managers / Owners.
- Work with Product Managers/Owners to identify and quantify value drivers.
- Work with Solution Architects and provide functional input and expertise to Roadmap development.
- Participates and supports Scrum teams in Sprint planning, execution, documenting and delivering the user stories.
- Help the teams to segment, sequence, and prioritize work efforts.
- Assist to address risks and clear impediments.
- Provide guidance and guardrails for the team to ensure solution is aligned to vision.
- Encourage innovation and problem-solving to address user concerns without customizations.
- Help the teams to identify test scope and verify that end-to-end processes are covered appropriately.
- Collaborate with Functional and Development teams to ensure delivery of the User Sorties within the predefined sprints.
- Work with Change Management on stakeholder engagement activities.
- Help develop comprehensive Cutover plan, encompassing business & technical activities for end-to-end solution.
- Drive defect resolution and clear roadblocks.
What skills and capabilities will make you successful?
- Requires Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Finance as well as 7-10 years of relevant experience in SAP FICO.
- Strong knowledge of SAP Finance, SAP Controlling (FICO) and SAP Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM) capabilities and leading industry practices.
- Deep understanding of finance processes and demonstrated experience of playing leading role in multiple complex SAP implementation projects.
- Hands-on experience in designing, building, and implementing solutions in SAP FI-CO (AR, AP, GL, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, Cost Center & Profit Center Accounting) and FSCM (Credit Management, Dispute Management, Collections Management).
- Certification and hands-on experience on S/4 HANA Finance (at least one implementation cycle) is preferred.
- Knowledge or experience of integrating SAP with third party apps/ add-ons like SABRIX/OneSource tax determination, Vistex Rebate management is preferred.
- Good understanding of Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Plan to Produce process flows is required.
- Knowledge or experience in integrating finance and controlling processes with Sales and Distribution, Production, Procurement, Project Systems modules of SAP is preferred.
- Understanding of financial flows for various manufacturing processes like MTS, MTO, CTO, ETO is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of SQL for retrieving data from multiple database tables using joins and filters is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in excel application is preferred to perform financial reconciliations and system or data validations.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Software Development Lifecycle and SAP Project Implementation Methodology, Project management tools and techniques.
- Understanding of Agile principles and frameworks, including Scrum and/or Kanban frameworks, practices, and theory. SAFe experience highly desired.
