The Sunnova Installation Service Supervisor Position
Sunnova Energy is searching for a Supervisor to oversee our Sunnova Installation crews. Sunnova Installations performs a variety of installs to include, but not limited to, photovoltaic installations, battery retrofits, EV Chargers, etc. The Supervisor is responsible for the day to day management of these crews and ensuring installations are completed safely, efficiently, with high quality, and with exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities- Manages installation teams to ensure the successful completion of projects that meet Sunnova’s standards
- Reviews, prepares, and plans for upcoming installations to ensure an efficient and quality install by the crew
- Approves plans, bill of materials, and addition materials required before job is scheduled
- Conducts frequent job-site visits
- Controls cost through planning ahead for installations and procuring the appropriate material for each installation
- Reviews completion packages to make sure the installation was completed according to the plans and meets Sunnova’s installation guidelines
- Coordinates with internal project operations team members on scheduling, re-scheduling, and cancellations
- Responsible for creating a positive culture where all team members are valued
- Oversees physical project completion including pulling necessary permits
- Coordinates and procures all material necessary for scheduled installations
Minimum Requirements- High School Diploma (or GED)
- Electrical Training
- Texas Journeyman Electrical License
- 10 - 15+ years’ related experience
- 8 - 10+ years’ supervisor experience with multiple reports
- Current, valid Driver’s license with acceptable Motor Vehicle Report
- Proficient in speaking, reading and writing English
Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Texas Master Electrician License
- Bilingual – English and Spanish
- Working knowledge of Salesforce
- Extensive customer service skills
Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities- Strong problem-solving skills
- Computer and Computer program skills such as Microsoft Office- Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong home construction or residential electric knowledge
- Strong written communication skills to communicate with all levels of management
- Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Excellent judgment in customer relations and managing company resources
- Ability to work as a team member and interact with other departments
- Ability to work under pressure with strict time deadlines
Working Conditions- Hybrid position working in the field and office setting
- Up to 25% overnight travel
- Up to 25% travel time; location varies with jobsite

Physical Requirements- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds; assistance may be provided for oversized items
- Able to sit, stand, walk, and drive for up to 8 hours at a time
- Work postures include reaching, kneeling, pushing, pulling, squatting, crawling, bending, twisting, climbing, and handling objects above/below the shoulder
