Overview

Coastal Waste & Recycling is experiencing explosive growth and with growth comes opportunity. We are a privately-owned, locally-operated solid waste disposal and recycling company focused exclusively on serving the people and businesses within our region. We are currently adding a Post Collection Maintenance Manager (Recycling/ MRF) to help support this growth. This position will support multiple sites across South Florida.

Responsibilities

The Post Collection Maintenance Manager (Recycling/ MRF) oversees the preventative maintenance and repair programs and unscheduled facility maintenance and repairs on all processing equipment and systems, to include:

Scheduling, overseeing, tracking and recording all maintenance activities and expenditures
Managing the maintenance team, to include hiring, training, scheduling and supervising personnel
Ensuring industrial maintenance is performed, including troubleshooting and repairs on processing equipment and support systems such as conveyor belts, motorized screening equipment and balers to minimize production downtime
Communicating regularly with MRF management team regarding equipment operation, maintenance, and repair status
Maintaining security for the maintenance ship, tools and equipment.

Qualifications

This ideal candidate for this position will have progressive experience with managing a team responsible for repairing machinery and large industrial equipment. This is a full-time position with competitive benefits.
