The Energy Project Lead will be responsible for:
Manage the global decarbonisation project portfolio with focus on scope 1 and 2 emissions - ensuring progress and reporting
Manage the usage and continuous rollout of our global Energy Management System and reporting upstream the organization to Danaher and Diagnostics platform
Analysing the financial, social, and environmental benefits of sustainability initiatives and presenting a persuasive holistic business case to stakeholders
Act as export and collaborate with local project managers and facility managers about energy consumption and impacts
Identify areas for improvement, share best practice, and train colleagues in sustainability impact – utilizing the Lean tools in Danaher Business System
You will be a part of the Global Sustainability, EHS, and Facility Management team and report to the Global Environmental Sustainability Director (located in Copenhagen Denmark). Global Sustainability is a 1½ year old department supporting all of Radiometer in meeting sustainability goals, which includes a commitment to SBTi and fulfilling the requirements in CSRD.
The department works to develop, support, and implement sustainability projects that will improve Radiometer's environmental impact, throughout our global outreach. However, the main impact occurs from our 7 production factories in 6 countries.
Additionally, the department works to ensure that Radiometer complies with relevant sustainability regulations and standards, and to engage with stakeholders on sustainability initiatives.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Manage complexity: Understand the multiple interrelated systems of sustainability projects and identify opportunities for improvement to ensure that the project has a positive impact on the business, environment, and society
Measure impact: Use effective measurement tools and frameworks to calculate and present the value of sustainability initiatives and track progress
Align stakeholder interests: Develop a shared sustainability vision for the project and communicate its purpose, goals, and progress to a diverse group of stakeholders
Balance short-term and long-term goals: Strike a balance between short-term needs and long-term sustainability goals
Increase knowledge level in the organization: Participate in the development of a training program for all project managers to integrate sustainability initiatives into all projects, not just those specifically focused on sustainability
Develop your Lean skills by becoming our global expert in our dedicated energy management tool – you will be running Kaizen events globally in Radiometer and some of our sister companies in Danaher
The essential requirements of the job include:
Strong knowledge of energy consumption and efficiency measures
Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders
Experience in developing business cases for sustainability initiatives
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement sustainability initiatives
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
Speaks and writes fluent English
Travel up to one week at a time 2-4 times per year
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Knowledge of sustainability frameworks and standards, such as the UN Sustainable Development Goals or the Global Reporting Initiative
Proficiency in project management software
Experience with data management tools and systems
Working on your own without daily face-to-face contact with your nearest colleague and manager
