Job Title: EHS&S Associate Engineer
Reports To: EHS&S Engineer or Manager

Basic Job Functions:
Implements the Environmental Health and Safety program ensuring compliance with EH&S policies and applicable regulatory standards.
Education/Experience:
- 4 year degree in an EHS related field preferred, other degrees considered with related work experience. In lieu of a degree, job experience will be considered.
- 0-2 years’ experience in the Environmental, Safety or Industrial Hygiene fields required.
Required Skills/Competencies:
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Strong computer applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong self-motivation and multitasking abilities
- Broad based knowledge of Safety, IH and Environmental programs
- Basic knowledge and understanding of OSHA and EPA regulations.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Responsible to implement the Environmental Health Safety and Security Management program in accordance with Federal, State and Local Regulations
- Responsible for industrial hygiene monitoring and reporting
- Responsible for Safety Equipment routine checks in designated areas.
- Responsible to provide designated group(s) with necessary support to prevent incidents impacting EH&S.
- Assists in incident investigations as needed.
- Support DE functions and project risk assessments.
- Responsibilities for assisting the waste management functions and assist with shipments, labeling, inspections
- Responsible for completing required audits and inspections as directed.
- Provide EHS training.
- Support activities of the Emergency Response Team and Safety Teams.
- Support HEPA testing activities as needed.
- Support all Security functions.
- Support any other EHS&S job duties.
Reporting Relationships:
- This position will report either to the EHSS Manager or Engineer
Travel:
- Domestic and International travel between 0-10%
