Bilingual (Spanish) Telephone Solar Sales Agent - Scheduling Appointments

As a Bilingual Telephone Sales Agent at Direct Solar, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales revenue. Your primary responsibility will be to effectively sell products and services to prospective customers, maximizing additional revenue from existing clients through recommended sales techniques. You’ll be communicating with both English and Spanish-speaking customers, so fluency in both languages is essential.
Our lucrative compensation plan of hourly + commission is designed to motivate and reward performance based on generating qualified appointments and driving sales.
Previous inside sales/call center experience required.
Sales and Customer Interaction:
- Engage with prospective customers via outbound calls to discuss solar products and services.
- Use effective sales techniques to promote incremental products and services.
- Provide side-by-side comparisons of Direct Solar’s offerings and competitors’ products.
- Manage emails (ranging from average to complex) received from Mortgage Specialists and respond promptly.
Product Knowledge:
- Acquire and demonstrate a thorough knowledge of competitors’ pricing, packaging, and products.
- Stay informed about Direct Solar’s offerings to provide accurate information to customers.
Teamwork and Growth:

Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Associate Degree in relevant fields such as Business, Communication, or Management preferred.
Skills:
- Fluent in both spoken and written English and Spanish.
- Proficient in using computers, email, chat, and office software.
- Familiarity with Wi-Fi technologies and Internet Explorer.
- Strong knowledge of Direct Solar target market(s).
- Ability to work in a compliance and regulatory environment.
Experience:
- Previous outbound sales experience is a must.
- Demonstrated communication skills in both Spanish and English.
- Comfortable navigating the Internet and using IT search engine tools.
