We’re looking for a safety manager to join our operations team.
As an EHS Specialist at Solar Landscape, you will be responsible for for executing the company’s safety program to ensure a safe, injury, and incident-free work environment.

Responsibilities- Report to Director, EHS on all safety matters
- Reinforce a positive, world class safety culture within the company and Sub-Contractors
- Implement Corporate Safety Policy and procedures for the company, including but not limited to: Site Specific Health and Safety Plan, Project Site Observations reports and Incident Investigation
- Training and means and methods geared towards continuous improvement
- Ability to assess Safety needs pre-mobilization
- Manage Project Safety on-site of multiple projects.
- Seek and provide interpretations on regulatory and safety issues
- Act as safety liaison for the company with Sub-Contractors
- Visit sites, develop rapport with leaders and crew, determine gaps in understanding and implementation of safety expectations, conduct audits and provide feedback
- Understand and be able to express the business case for having an effective EHS Program.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree or experience may be substituted
- 5+ years Construction or General Industry experience
- Ability to work in a team and lead a project
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to speak in front of groups
- Experience Conducting training
- Successful completion Certifications preferred: CHST, OHST, OSHA 510, OSHA 511, OSHA 501, or OSHA 500
- Knowledge of health and safety processes and practices
- Evaluate the probable physical hazards and take essential steps to minimize them
- Ability to research and apply the best practices to provide effective services
- Current with new changes in laws and regulations
- Research safety information pertaining to all applicable states, local municipalities, etc.
