What we’re looking for:
Nexamp is looking to hire a Subscriber Management Supervisor. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day functions related to the allocation of customers onto our large-scale solar farms. This person will be responsible for managing a team of Subscriber Management Specialists who submit allocation lists to utilities, ensuring our farms are subscribed in accordance with community solar program requirements, and maintain our salesforce data of customer subscriptions. This person will partner with teams across Nexamp to ensure that allocation requirements for both our live and future solar farms are being addressed. They will also play a key role in maximizing both the customer experience and Nexamp’s Community Solar revenue.
You will be hybrid out of Boston, MA. You will report to the Manager of Revenue Operations.
What you’ll do:
- Coach, mentor, and develop staff on the Subscriber Management team.
- Ensure projects remain fully subscribed with accurately allocated customers to ensure project generation is fully monetized. Including but not limited to:
- Oversee and support daily creation and submission of allocation lists to utilities.
- Support the development and optimization of customer reallocation business operations.
- Work with utility partners to ensure lists are applied in a timely manner.
- Maintain and refine accurate internal reporting systems of project and customer subscription levels.
- Oversee and support the maintenance of customer data in Salesforce to ensure customer subscription information is accurately reflected, updated when needed and complete.
- Ensure project subscriber mix remains in compliance with financing requirements and regulatory programs, including the Illinois Adjustable Block Program, the Massachusetts SMART program, and Lower Income programs across the country.
- Monitor solar farms and waitlists to help ensure a strong pipeline of customers required and regularly update stakeholders on the status of such.
- Leverage data to identify obstacles and implement solutions to achieving department, business unit, and company priorities
- Proactively identify potential problems and obstacles before they occur
- Assess monetary impact of problems and monetary cost of solutions to support leadership in prioritizing work.
- Partner with Enablement, Product, and other teams to build and refine business operations to profitably deliver best-in-class customer experience and minimize the volume of operational exceptions.
- Model strong communication skills within Revenue Operations and the broader organization and company.
- Build and maintain comprehensive documentation of business operations.
- Provide additional support to Senior Leadership and other teams as needed, including handling tasks completely and following through on any pending items or actions.
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent work experience.
- Preferred degree in environmental policy, business, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in renewables management, data analysis or a related operational role.
- 1+ years of experience in a leadership role.
- Ability to work on and prioritize multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced proficiency Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Salesforce
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Analytical mindset and comfort with large data sets, coupled with a strong attention to detail
- Are comfortable working in a changing/growing environment
