As the COO, you will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for overseeing the daily operations and ensuring the smooth implementation of our strategic goals. You will bring your expertise in operations management and solar energy to drive efficiency, growth, and profitability across projects. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Oversee all aspects of daily operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to develop and implement long-term strategies for growth and expansion in the solar energy market.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, promoting a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
- Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, optimize resource allocation, and ensure financial health of the operations. Implement cost-control measures and improve profitability.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and lead initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and streamline processes.
- Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all operations comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies. Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
- Innovation: Drive the adoption of new technologies and best practices in solar energy to maintain a competitive edge and improve operational effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the solar energy industry.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading and scaling operations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and develop long-term plans while managing day-to-day operations.
- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of solar energy technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions and manage complex projects.
