The role sits in our Equity Research Group and will be a part of the Utilities & Clean Energy Team.
The Role:
We are keen to hire an Associate to join the team in the US. The role will focus specifically on Utility & Clean Energy Public Policy, with a focus on state-level developments impacting the sector. Ideal candidate would have experience in Utility regulation before Public Service Commissions and/or other regulatory venues such as the FERC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write reports pertaining to key Utility public policy developments and their impact on asset allocation and investment returns
- Monitor key dockets & items of relevance impacting the sector in real time
- Organize investor trips & calls involving any range of states or issues nationally
Requirements:
- At least 1-5 years of proven experience at a Utility/Clean Energy company or with State/Federal regulator
- Track record of drafting language for & engagement with utility regulatory body
- Able to communicate effectively – both written and verbal
- A suitable record of academic achievement, with minimum of undergraduate degree; no requisite financial knowledge.
Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $100,000-$135,000.
The salary offered will take into consideration an individual’s experience level and qualifications.
