Vestas Nacelles Deutschland GmbH is outstanding in the development, production, and repair of different types of wind turbine generators to generate sustainable energy solutions. The company is a division of Vestas Wind Systems A/S in Denmark. The Vestas Group is a globally established manufacturer of wind turbines.
Responsibilities
- Apply leadership securing safety, quality, delivery, cost across factories and cultures
- People management of a diverse and very experienced team
- Deploy Quality Strategy and Policy in the factory and quality awareness, by enhancing a customer-focused zero-failure culture
- Quality improvement: Influence any process that affects quality within the factory, facilitate and support quality improvements, and elimination of recurring product defects and process shortcomings
- Ensure Internal audits & Customer audit handling and best practice
- Compliance with control plans through statistical process control and capability
- Establish and support generator manufacturing in a lean production equipment setup
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or business with experience in engineering/production
- Several years work experience in quality / engineering environment
- Skilled with product verification/validation
- Good understanding of quality tools (e. g. Six Sigma Green Belt)
- Auditor knowledge of advantage
- Very good Knowledge in MS-Office, including presentations

- Great skills in Quality and Technical Support to join an efficient management team and work on New Product Introduction (NPI) Organizational Development
- Leadership skills in change management; managerial courage
- Budget accountability
- Strong cooperation and communication skills
- Customer-focused, technical and result-oriented
- You are fluent in English and German
