MAJOR DUTIES: As a Supervisory Fishery Policy Analyst, you will perform the following duties: Conducts probing, innovative interpretation and analysis of complex fishery and cooperative research polices, issues, and regulations as the relate to the region. Serves as technical expert, briefing senior management on likely issues or points of concern and preparing policy documents for a variety of audiences in order to communicate technical information. Executes controversial and complex programs, resource planning, fishery objectives, or decision documents that significantly affect national or regional agency priorities. Evaluates the work performance of subordinates, providing technical oversight and instruction and addressing poor performance as part of the performance process.
