Project summary
Engage AmeriCorps members in all aspects of the operation of the Buckeye State Native Tree Nursery to increase the supply of native trees available for ecosystem restoration and reforestation projects in Ohio.
Opportunity description
Lead a crew of 3-4 dedicated AmeriCorps member under the guidance of the Buckeye State Tree Nursery Manager to assist with all tasks related to the propagation and care of native plants at the nursery. members will also assist with community outreach and education related to the nursery.

Requirements
Significant walking, climbing, and lifting; Access to a vehicle; Background Check
Preferred qualifications
Leadership experience. Basic knowledge of botany, dendrology, or forest science.
