MAJOR DUTIES: As a Program Specialist, you will perform the following duties: Provide operational and administrative support to office personnel, including performing timekeeping function, and participating in coordinating annual employee and supervisor training by determining availability of training classes, location, dates, and time. Participates in travel coordination by arranging domestic and foreign travel, scheduling ground transportation, making lodging reservations, and preparing travel orders and travel vouchers on a timely basis. Functions as a purchase card holder and ordering officer for non-expendable supply items and equipment; controls ordering of expendable items by remote work centers and maintains all property data in automated systems. Receives visitors and incoming telephone calls, directing them to the appropriate individual or providing general information.
