Job Description

Job Title: Solar Sales Professional

Join a team of professionals at Pro Solar for an incredible opportunity of unlimited income potential, assisting homeowners to go green, and positively impacting the communities we serve.

As a key member of our team, you must be highly self-motivated and able to effectively educate customers on the workings of solar and storage systems. This requires excellent communication skills and a drive to connect with homeowners in person or virtually.

Must have 2 years of experience in PV solar. Additionally, knowledge of Solargraf would be highly beneficial and considered a significant advantage over other candidates.

Knowledge of the solar industry or previous solar sales experience is required in order to sell solar systems the right way. We provide continued training to ensure you are confident & prepared for success with a potential of $100k+ income. Earning potential increases with time and success.

A Solar Sales Professional is responsible for employing the knowledge of solar products and services to connect with customers and create sales from interested parties. Highly motivated, ethical, and self driven will be very successful and have access to a product line not readily available to other companies.

Requirements

Solar Sales Professional Requirements:

  • Solar Sales experience a must.
  • Sales Experience is a must
  • Knowledge of Solargraf a plus
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Enthusiastic representation of our company and products
  • Ability to present information in a persuasive manner
  • Competitive in nature
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Must have 2 years of experience in PV solar.
  • Valid driver license and reliable transportation
  • Willingness to drive to client locations (both residential and commercial)
  • Availability of five days a week, including nights and some weekends.

Solar Sales Professional Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years related experience in the solar industry.

Solar Sales Professional Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Manage a pipeline for the company which encompasses most of the state
  • Consult preset appointments on advantages of PV solar and battery storage products
  • Convey your expertise in renewable energy and smart home products as well as their benefits to the consumer
  • Help families save money through our consumer-focused sales practice
  • Close solar and battery deals confidently with new homeowners and families while gaining outside business development expertise
  • Make daily warm / cold calls to your pipeline as well as sales leads and answer questions from prospective customers.
  • Build a relationship with customers by introducing them to solar products.
  • Answer questions about the product and meeting customer needs.
  • Business to consumer outside and virtual sales consulting and full circle project management
  • Properly prepare for appointments by building Solargraf designs, proposals, presentations, and financial analysis of their options
  • Conduct effective, powerful, and educational client-specific presentation that results in a positive experience at every appointment
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales appointment and revenue goals
  • Maintain Leads, Opportunities, and all inter-departmental communications using CRM
  • Maintain and immediately update notes on all client appointments in the CRM
  • Confidently discuss options and close contracts ethically
  • Provide customer service and generate referral sales when possible
  • Identify prospective customers for potential leads to generate a pipeline
  • Complete and submit all necessary paperwork for each project
  • Participating in the company events to prospect and generate sales.
  • Participate in company’s training and meetings.
  • Network and look for opportunities for engagement to build a client base
  • Represent ProSolar’s brand as well as our exclusive partnerships
  • Stay educated on the newest solar energy products, technologies, and financing options.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • It starts with immense earning potential! The typical average annual compensation of a first year sales representatives is $100,000 - $140,000 , but for our top performers, the earning potential is dramatically higher
