Main Accountabilities
The Project Director will be accountable for the delivery and complete the Project to the agreed scope, specification, schedule and budget. In executing his duties, he shall supervise the remaining Project Activities i.e.: Boiler Replacement related activities, Punchlist, Commissioning as well as coordinate and supervise a seamless handover of the completed Systems to the Operation team.

- Prioritize health, safety, and environmental (HSE) considerations in all aspects of the project.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify compliance with HSE regulations.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management plan, identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the project execution.
- Supervise and monitor the project plan and procedure developed and presented by the Construction Contractor, including but not limited to: project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in alignment with the Project's goals. Ensure its compliance and sustainability during execution..
- Support the Project Company in case they need to provide any information to the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu (RCJY) and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support the Project Company CEO to communicate with stakeholders and address concerns and queries effectively.
- Lead and supervise a competent and diverse project team comprising engineers, Construction manager, technical experts, and support staff.
- Provide clear direction and guidance to the team to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Foster a collaborative and motivated work environment to maximize productivity and innovation.
- Monitor and control project progress against the established timeline and milestones.
- Implement effective project management methodologies to keep the project on track.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize design solutions and ensure that Punchlist and Engineering Field Instructions (EFI) are identified and closed in an efficient manner.
- Support the commissioning and testing teams.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize project budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Prepare regular progress reports for management.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including meeting minutes, technical reports, and approvals.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer meetings within the project team, ensuring a smooth transition of information and skills among team members.
- Identify training needs within the project team to join group development programs to enhance skills and capabilities.
- Develop and implement a crisis management plan to address unforeseen challenges or emergencies effectively.
