Salary: $115,793 (Step 1) to $150,535 (Step 10). NOTE: First time hires to the Federal Government are typically hired at the Step 01. MAJOR DUTIES: As a Supervisory IT Specialist (System Administrator) within the Washington Water Science Center, some of your specific duties will include: Implement Information-security/information-assurance policies. Provide guidance and advice on complex IT issues. Evaluate and recommend new approaches to IT Service Delivery. Provide customer support for computer applications. Provide Supervision and Managerial oversight. Operate a government owned or leased vehicle as an incidental driver. Physical Demands The work is primarily sedentary. Some work may involve travel to and attendance at meetings and conferences away from the work site. Some employees may carry light items such as papers, books, or small parts, or drive a motor vehicle. The work does not require any special physical effort. Work Environment The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated. The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts that require normal safety precautions.
