Major Duties include:

This position is with the Mediterranean Coast Network Historic Preservation Team, located at Channel Islands National Park, in the Cultural Resources Management Division. The Preservation Team works at three National Park Service units: Channel Islands National Park (home base), Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area, and Cabrillo National Monument. Duty station is Ventura, CA. Work on the Channel Islands involves boat trips across the Santa Barbara channel and multi-day stays (up to 8 days at a time) on the islands. Housing is provided on the islands. Work at Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area is accomplished by daytrips from Ventura. Work at Cabrillo National Monument also involves multi-day tours, for which housing or lodging is provided.
