This opportunity is available to current National Park Service employees serving under a career or career-conditional appointment in the competitive service who wish to be considered for a temporary promotion and CTAP eligibles.
This position manages the administrative and business operations for Yosemite National Park. The Chief of Administration/Business Management is the principal advisor and management consultant to the Superintendent and park management team for administrative matters.

What is a temporary promotion? A temporary promotion is a temporary assignment of an employee to higher grade and occupational series for which an employee is qualified. A selectee receiving a first appointment to the Federal Government (Civil Service) is entitled only to the lowest step of the grade for which selected. The display of a salary range on this vacancy shall not be construed as granting an entitlement to a higher rate of pay.
