JOB SUMMARY: This position is located in the Facility Management Division of a National Park Service unit typically characterized by a diversified infrastructure consisting of several visitor/resource venues, standard utility systems, and multiple asset types. Buildings vary in structural makeup and grounds may involve extensive landscaping. Maintenance responsibility includes buildings and utilities, roads and trails, campgrounds, and interpretive media throughout the park. MAJOR DUTIES: Operates/oversees the operation of the Facility Management Software System (FMSS) system including, but not limited to asset identification and inventory, condition assessments, cost estimating, work order generation, and life cycle information. Uses standardized guidelines to determine the condition of all assets, including annual and comprehensive assessments, life-cycle assessments, and daily work findings. Prepares and presents reports to management from FMSS databases for operational, fiscal, ad planning purposes. Provides support and guidance on all practical and technical aspects of FMSS database software used to track facility management functions.
