JOB SUMMARY: This position is in Office of Land and Emergency Management (OLEM), Office of Resource Conservation & Recovery, Program Implementation & Info Division, Federal, Stat, & Tribal Programs Branch. MAJOR DUTIES: You will: Serve as a technical/programmatic authority in developing guidelines and providing expert advice and assistance to regions and states to help facilitate implementation of RCRA and HSWA. Serve as a primary senior staff authority and coordinator to develop and implement stakeholder/EPA partnerships for environmental protection programs. Serve as Office of Resource Conservation and Recovery (ORCR) lead for Hazardous Waste Grant allocations and for state oversight efforts. Manage special projects and lead ad hoc teams. You will spend less than 25% of your work time on contracts, grants/cooperative agreements, and/or interagency agreements.
