JOB SUMMARY: An incentive of up to $44,000 may be offered with a 2-year Service Agreement if determined eligible at time of selection. This position is located in the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Farm Production and Conservation (FPAC) Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), State Office and reports to the State Conservationist. The incumbent serves as advisor to the State Conservationist on all engineering phases of Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) programs in the state. MAJOR DUTIES: Provides staff leadership in all phases of the engineering programs of NRCS in the state, including formulation of standards, specifications, engineering planning, design and construction.
