The Weeds and Wildlife Technician position’s purpose is to assist the Bureau of Land Management’s Weeds and Wildlife programs with noxious/invasive weeds inventorying, wildlife inventories/monitoring, NEPA, and other field work.

Opportunity description

The Weeds and Wildlife Technician position’s purpose is to assist the Bureau of Land Management’s Weeds and Wildlife programs with noxious/invasive weeds inventorying, wildlife inventories/monitoring, NEPA, and other field work. The IP will have regular one on one meetings to ensure the IP is receiving an enriching experience and to coordinate inclusion with other IPs and RMYC as a whole.

Requirements and qualifications

Requirements

18-30 years old. Eligible for AmeriCorps Term of Service. High school diploma/GED required

Preferred qualifications

Bachelor's degree, relevant experience, and strong written and verbal communication skills preferred. See position description.
