Hydrology Individual Placement

Project summary

The individual placement will help to produce up to 760 acres of forage crops for migratory waterfowl and cranes, improve water management to maintain and enhance 500 to 700 acres of wetlands in over 42 impoundments, and develop and implement plans to realign and restore over a 3/4 mile stretch along the Mora River.

Opportunity description

This position provides individuals with service and career opportunities to strengthen communities and preserve our natural resources. Participants serve locally with a partner agency completing identified in the project description. Participants receive daily supervision from a local mentor who works with the partner agency and overall support from Conservation Legacy staff. Service is generally 8-5 Monday – Friday but may vary.
