Project summary

Trail crew members undertake the construction of hand built sustainable trails and trail remediation projects, provide hands-on assistance with visitor access enhancements, trail monitoring and improvements, habitat restoration, invasive species removal, and trail signage. This service replaces outdated, non-environmentally sustainable designed trails with new trails designed to minimize environmental impact and protect fragile ecosystem.

Opportunity description

Perform manual labor in support of sustainable trail construction. Utilize a variety of hand tools to establish trail surfaces and clear trail corridors of invasive species. There are as many as 10 openings for this position

Requirements

Significant walking. lifting up to 50 lbs. Work outdoors in a variety of weather and site conditions. hard physical labor using hand tools. Access to a vehicle.

Preferred qualifications

No experience required.
