Project summary
Engage young adults, ages 18-26, in urban forestry, wildfire prevention and fuels reduction, habitat restoration, urban shoreline restoration and preservation, forestry, city park/green space development and maintenance, stormwater management, tree planting, recycling, disaster response, development of community and school-based gardens, and urban river ranger training.
Opportunity description
There are at least 75 openings for this position throughout the year. We offer 2 programs: 1) paid work experience combined with program for 18-26 year olds, and 2) 1-year job readiness for 18-26 year olds with a High School diploma. Once Corpsmembers have completed orientation, they are placed into a series of industry-specific learning cohorts that they will complete over the course of a year. Additionally, they are placed in work crews for hands-on training in the field.

Requirements
Ages 18-26. Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 upon first day of hire. Original high school diploma or copy of transcripts from last school attended. Two forms of proper identification.
Preferred qualifications
No experience required.
