This role is responsible for managing TaylorMade Golf’s environmental impact key performance indicators (KPIs), strategy, initiatives/projects, and reporting. This individual will work cross-functionally across the organization and supply chain to collect data and drive alignment with company goals. In collaboration with stakeholders, this individual helps craft and communicate improvement objectives in the areas of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, waste and water reduction, and other sustainability metrics.
Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop, create buy-in, and implement corporate sustainability strategy in alignment with the company's goals and values.
- Responsible for data management, quality, and monitoring of KPIs (including energy, water, waste and GHG emissions). Inclusive of TM owned facilities as well as external suppliers.
- Summarize and effectively communicate KPI findings and share insight with key stakeholders, committees, and executive team.
- Develop and drive local and enterprise-wide sustainability initiatives and projects to improve KPIs.
- Facilitate company sustainability reporting aligned with sustainability reporting frameworks, standards, and guidelines such as GHG Protocol, GRI, TCFD, and ISSB IFRS.
- Direct clear and aligned external sustainability messaging to public and stakeholders.
- Identify, assess, and prioritize sustainability risks and opportunities throughout the company's value chain.
- Develop and implement sustainable procurement policies and procedures.
- Provide expert level support on relevant environmental/sustainability function activities by identifying goals, developing plans, estimating time frames and monitoring. progress with limited supervision.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- Experience calculating Scope 1, 2 and 3 GHG emissions and identifying areas of opportunity.
- Detailed knowledge of social and environmental sustainability topics
- Knowledge of GHG Protocol, Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and other standards, guidelines, and frameworks
- Proven ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong quantitative skills, with the ability to analyze data and translate into easily understood themes.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI).
- Ability to influence at all levels and with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong planning and project management skills
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels.
Education, Work Experience, and Professional Certifications:
- Bachelors degree in Sustainability, Engineering, Business or related field
- 5-7 years of experience related to the previously described duties
- Sustainability credential/certificate preferred (e.g. GRI, LEED, ISSP or similar)
Work Environment / Physical Requirements:
- Normal office conditions with extensive computer and phone usage.
- Ability to work extended hours as necessary.
- Able to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruption.
- Light physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials.
- Occasional travel may be required
TaylorMade is a performance driven organization and our total rewards approach tocompensation is designed to support this. We consider many factors in determining basecompensation, including position scope, job related knowledge, education, skills, experience, andwork location. The expectedannualbase pay range for this position is$100,000 to $120,000.Additional benefits, such as health & wellness, performance bonuses, product discounts, holidays,paid time off, etc. may also be offered in accordance with our plans.
