Our team is growing as a result of exciting new opportunities and growing demand. We are now seeking an Intermediate to Senior Environmental Consultant who has a desire to continue to develop their skills by helping to deliver a wide variety of EIA projects for the renewables, mining, infrastructure, government, and defence sectors in WA. Our key services in demand for the WA environment team are due diligence assessments, environmental studies, environmental approvals, compliance and auditing, sustainability, and environmental management of operations.
About you:
We are looking for an Intermediate to Senior Environmental Consultant that can demonstrate sound project management and technical skills able to deliver EIA and environmental management projects for our relevant sectors. To be successful in this role you will have:
- A degree/post graduate qualification in environmental science, environmental planning (or similar).
- 5+ years’ post-graduate professional experience in an environmental role, preferably with demonstrated environmental approvals experience.
- Experience in consulting desirable.
- Experience in renewables, resources, defence, or infrastructure in WA.
- Strong technical aptitude and project management skills.
- Adaptability to undertake a range of technical work based on project requirements.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated aptitude for collaboration to work through challenging issues.
- Ability to develop and maintain positive client relationships.
- An ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders including government agencies.
- Highly motivated and self-directed.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of the relevant WA planning and environmental legislation is desirable.
