POSITION: Sustainability Manager (For Apparel Client)
SHIFT: Mon to Fri
SUMMARY
Manager, Lead and overseeall sustainability initiatives in the warehouse to develop the Sustainability Program in close collaboration with the customer’s teams. Supervision of the on-going projects, communications, reporting and development of new proposals with the overall objective to minimize environmental impact, optimize resources and promote a healthy and responsible working environment in the warehouse.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Increase sustainability knowledge in all warehouse areas to integrate sustainability practices into their operations and processes.
- Develop training materials and internal awareness and campaigns, as well as organization and coordination of meetings, workshops, and events in the field of sustainability
- Manage the implementation of processes and initiatives, ensuring they are created, kept up to date, managed, distributed, and used in the warehouse.
- To be able to analyze, from an innovative perspective, all the processes and internal flows to identify potential improvements aligned with the Sustainability Programme.
- Be tenacious in sustainability performance by monitoring KPIs with an analytical view to identify and understand deviations.
- Build and lead a community-network integrated in the warehouse teams which will provide support in the implementation and monitoring of the initiatives.
- Engagement with customer teams to collaboratively develop strategies aligned with the Sustainability Programme.
- Primary point of liaison for day-to-day operational issues & for inquiries relating to operational process. Review & resolve customer’s or internal inquiries and concerns promptly & professionally.
EXPERIENCE
- 3 years in retail business and logistics supply chain.
- Ideally 1-2 plus years’ experience in a sustainability position.
- Familiar with Continuous improvement methodology.
- Min. 1 year experience in managing teams
- Knowledge and experience in the use of IT tools for the analysis and reporting of sustainability data (Excel, etc.).
