Looking to take the next step in your career? Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated, entrepreneurial Sustainability Project Manager to join the Environmental & Sustainability team in the United States. Location is flexible and travel should be expected.

Our Environment & Sustainability team provides our clients with expertise in Climate Change, Environmental Assessment & Management, Site Assessment and Remediation, Noise & Vibration, Social Impact Management, Sustainable Development Design, and Water Resources. As the successful candidate, you will:  

• Grow our sustainability consulting practice in the United States 

• Lead client engagements including writing sustainability reports, responding ESG related ratings, setting sustainability goals, conducting benchmarking and auditing.
• Provide technical and peer review support for client deliverables 

• Identify and develop Sustainability related business opportunities 

• Work collaboratively with the global Environmental, engineering and project teams liaising and supporting global peers 

• Recruit, develop and support Hatch’s people

You bring to the role:  

• Post-Secondary education in sustainability, environmental engineering, engineering science, environmental science and/or related discipline 

• Minimum 15 years' experience in sustainability, sustainable construction, environmental management, assessments, etc.
• Demonstrated business development and client engagement experience 
• Deep knowledge of the Environment and Sustainability market and clients in the United States

• Willingness for both domestic and international travel as work requires 
• Demonstrated success in leading and developing highly successful teams

• Ability to lead, mentor and inspire teams 

• Effective open communication and presentation style with the ability to plan and deliver best in class high quality deliverables 

• In-depth understanding of environmental legislation
