About the role
Our Auckland-based environment, planning & resource management practice is looking for a graduate to join us to start in January 2025. This is an interesting and challenging role and will suit an enthusiastic self-starter, who enjoys cultivating strong working relationships.
This role will ideally suit someone who is keen to kick off their career in law in a top firm and has a keen interest in the world of environmental and resource management(RM) law. As the successful candidate, you will be working directly with four of New Zealand’s leading RM partners Paula Brosnahan, Luke Hinchey and Alana Lampitt, getting involved in a range of matters. Our team works on projects and planning that affect New Zealand Inc in a significant way – think major state highways, airports, ports, power generation projects and electricity distribution, major industry and mining, and residential and retirement developments. We are leading specialists in climate change law and act for clients on climate change litigation, emissions trading and climate change risk assessment and disclosure. There is a lot to get involved in, and the work will definitely be varied!
Being involved and contributing right from the start is great for learning and development, paired with a strong support network and buddy system. As the successful graduate in our team, you will be given the room to take initiative and showcase your skills, while having a close-knit team to back you up.
