Job Description Qualifications:
Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) has an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Control Systems Engineering Unit Member Certification Manager (Level K) to lead our Engineering Unit Member teams in Everett, WA.
The ideal candidate will be a reliable and competent professional who possesses the ability to work well across diverse groups and effectively collaborate across organizational boundaries. The candidate will be a problem solver and a leader who can effectively characterize, prioritize, and implement solutions in fast paced sustainment and development environments. The candidate will lead and support a multi-disciplined team with focus on compliance finding and safety.

Position Responsibilities:
Manages employees across multiple sustaining and development programs.
Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.
Provides education and coaching for team development.
Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements.
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, regulators, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports.
Manages, develops and motivates employees.
Work Authorization:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Everett, WA.
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field
1+ years of experience in engineering management
3+ years of experience working within Boeing Commercial Airplanes
Experience within project leadership including planning, implementing and executing program plans
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with airplane safety and certification processes
Demonstrated problem solving and technical experience.
3+ years engineering experience in complex systems development and certification.
Systems Engineering experience.
Demonstrated skill set in Safety Analysis and Engineering management.
