Reporting to the District Safety, Health and Environment Officer, the Manager, Safety, Health and Environment will be responsible for ensuring effective implementation of safety, health and environment management system for venues in WKCD such as HKPM, M+, Xiqu Centre, Freespace and Art Park.
You will be responsible for:
overseeing the district safety, health and environment (SHE) management system implementation programme;
providing advice to management and front-line staff to ensure day-to-day processes and operations are in compliance with SHE-related legislation, rules and standards;
performing SHE related briefings, trainings, risk assessments, accident investigations, emergency drills, inspections and audits to various departments of the Authority; and
preparing and updating SHE and emergency management related documents such as manuals, procedures, plans and guidelines.
You should:
possess a recognised university degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering or related disciplines.
be a Registered Safety Officer/Safety Auditor with Hong Kong Labour Department;
have at least 5 years of experience in safety management preferably as client or in public organisation;
be a good team player, proactive and strongly self-motivated with the ability to effectively interact with people at all levels of the organisation; and
be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
