POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Under general supervision, the Helpdesk Technician Intern acts as support for issues coming through the IT helpdesk. This position organizes, maintains, and prioritizes helpdesk tickets, as well as assists with various other IT projects.
Start and end dates may vary based upon individual availability and team needs.

Organizes, maintains, and responds to IT helpdesk tickets, including:
- Responding to helpdesk tickets and providing basic IT support for personnel.
- Prioritizing tickets and communicating larger issues to IT Assistant manager.

Supports ticket Kiosks to maximize uptime.

Performs basic PC setup and installation.

Assists manager and IT staff with larger projects, as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- EDUCATION & FORMAL TRAINING:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical certification in computer related field preferred or actively pursuing technical education/certification.
- EXPERIENCE:
- Basic PC repair and troubleshooting experience required.
- Comprehensive and working knowledge of Windows 10 required.
- Experience with Office Suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- OTHER MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Must pass a background and drug screening.
