Busy solar company seeks a full time, experienced Construction Installation Scheduler. Previous solar experience is a plus. Construction/renovation job scheduling is also desirable. If you do not have Construction Scheduling and/or Permit Applications Experience you need not apply.
The role of the Installation Scheduler is to populate & maintain the work schedules for our installation crews, inspection teams and keep jobs moving towards a customer’s “Permission to Operate” as quickly as possible. When scheduling events with customers, the Scheduler clearly communicates all relevant timelines, technical and process-oriented information and adjusts expectations if necessary. Our success as a company depends on the quality, helpfulness and speed of the Installation Scheduler.
Responsibilities (including but are not limited to):
- Fill out, track and apply for permits
- Contact homeowners to schedule & confirm their installation
- Maintain a populated crew schedule for at least three weeks out
- Set and, at times, re-set expectations with the customer on the installation itself along with next steps in the project’s post-construction phase
- Schedule, track and follow up on inspections with townships
- Coordinate with Project Managers and Vendors on material orders and drops
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in construction scheduling and permit applications
- Strong phone communication and listening skills
- Excellent follow up and problem solving skills
- Strong computer skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Familiar with Drop Box, Google Aps
- Tech savvy
- Ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment and results oriented to deliver an outstanding customer experience
- Excellent customer service skills required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
- Thrive in a team environment
Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background screening
Strongly prefer someone local to Atlantic, Cape May or Ocean counties.
