Responsibilities
Ability to motivate, and mentor Managers along with a variety of personnel involved in the installation of solar projects to create a positive, constructive, and performance driven environment
This position requires risk analysis, critical thinking and the ability to provide solutions to the benefit of the company, individual branches, and projects
Identify and Drive “Best Practices” throughout individual branch operations. Ensure that the practice is standardized and shared throughout territory
Ability to understand and manage the Region’s performance to key performance metrics including regional forecast delivery
Drive continuous improvement throughout the region by working with Leadership and SMEs from Supply Chain, Permitting, Inspections, Sales, Quality, Safety, and Home Upgrades. Conduct weekly meetings with each group to identify areas of improvement and best practices. Weekly reporting to VP, Operations on plans and improvements
Utilize data to drive decision making, process improvement, and uncover performance, cost or quality opportunities.
Work to ensure that we are delivering an excellent customer experience and address escalated customer concerns as necessary
Negotiate solutions, resolve conflicts and provide solutions in the best interest of Sunrun, and our customers and employees
Assist in the training and mentoring of new members to the Operations Leadership Team
Assist the executive team of Sunrun Operations in Branch footprint and volume allocation strategy
Liaison for staffing decisions between other Branch verticals and Regional Leadership
Cultivate and promote a positive culture within the territory
Assist the executive team of Sunrun Operations in performance based incentives
Assist in maintaining Build Partner relations throughout the territory
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a business leader with a strong background in analysis, continuous improvement, lean operations, and delivering training and best-in-class approaches to new and existing employees
Excellent skills in complex analytic problem solving, project management, change management, & group process. Must exhibit efficiency, collaboration, candor, openness, & results orientation
Sunrun is a world-class team. We are seeking world-class candidates with demonstrated success in a rapidly-changing and expanding organization. Former experience as a consultant or demonstrated focus area on productivity in industries with a large residential installation and services component is highly desired
Knowledge of safety program and policy design
Demonstrated a clear track record of working collaboratively with internal and external parties across all the company to drive collective success and has built key relationships, managed and mentored a strong team of high performers
Understanding of financial metrics and productivity measurements
Experience with the deployment of automated scheduling and dispatching tools, dynamic dispatch processes, and advanced tools for workforce planning and labor planning
Proven leadership skills in program/project management, lean continuous improvement, and ability to develop and manage a very large budget
Experience with technology including Salesforce, Oracle BI, installation/service scheduling tools that deploy teams of individuals for a project,GoogleSuite, Workday, and similar programs is expected
Track record of driving operational improvement distributed field organizations with 20-30% productivity improvements achieved, as well as track record in driving gains in safety measures, quality, and executing highly effective training programs is highly desired
Must maintain a clean driving record with the ability to pass a driving background check. Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license
Physical Demands
Have adequate visual and hearing acuity to follow instructions; operate machinery and equipment; and determine accuracy of the work assigned
Ability to work safely on construction jobsites, and warehouses
Ability to drive with a clean driving record
Use of standard office equipment, phone, computer, printer
Able to listen and communicate verbally
Able to sit for extended periods of time
Able to stand for up to 8 hours

Starting salary/wage for this opportunity:
$162,417.94 to $216,557.25
Other rewards may include annual bonus eligibility, which is based on company and individual performance, short and long term incentives, and program-specific awards.
