Solar Path is seeking applications for the full-time post of an Electrician for residential and commercial solar PV installations, covering the Munster region, located in Cork with jobs mostly based in Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Waterford.

 

Solar Path is a solar PV company based in Cork. This is an exciting opportunity to get in at the early stage of a growing solar company. We are seeking a skilled electrician, with solar PV experience, to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial and residential electrical systems, and solar PV installations. They will be able to work independently or as part of a team and will be responsible for installing solar systems in accordance with national regulations.

Responsibilities:


· The position involves the installation and maintenance of residential and commercial solar PV systems and EV chargers.

· Carry out a comprehensive risk assessment.

· Interact and communicate well with customers.

· Exhibit professional appearance and conduct while providing a world-class customer experience.

· Ensure on-time arrival to daily customer appointments.

· Maintain and manage adequate inventory levels of product and equipment.

· Install and/or maintain authorised equipment in customers’ homes/ business.

· Work safely and responsibly.

· Explain and provide detailed system capabilities and operational instructions to customers.

· Clean all installation debris in each home after all service and installation visits.

· Accurately complete necessary paperwork, including RECI and SEAI.



Requirements:


  • A full clean driving licence is essential

  • National Craft Cert (Fully Qualified Electrician)

  • A current QC number is preferable but course will be provided if necessary

  • Safe Pass, manual handling and working at heights (ladder) certification is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

  • Ability to work as part of a team.

  • Available to work overtime.

  • Excellent organisational/time management skills

  • Fluent spoken and written English is important.

  • Experience with Solar PV is a essential

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team

  • Ability to work full-time in the wider Munster area, and occassionaly beyond as required. Remote working is not available.
