(Senior) Associate – Project Development Renewable Energy & Green Hydrogen *Spanish Speaking* (m/f/d)

Pacifico Energy Partners GmbH (“Pacifico”) is a renewable energy company for wind and solar energy as well as battery and hydrogen technologies. We develop greenfield projects, repower existing plants, provide state-of-the-art asset management services and facilitate the acquisition of operational and turn-key plants.

Your Tasks

Project Development I You develop an innovative hybrid green hydrogen/solar/wind project in Spain with local partners, from an early stage to commercial operation. As a project manager, you own the business case, manage the financials and timeline of the project, prepare public funding requests together with the team, and are the main responsible for your project.

Contract Negotiation I You negotiate contracts with hydrogen offtakers, engineering service providers, and investors.

Stakeholder-Management I You initiate and manage relationships with stakeholders including local co-developers, hydrogen offtakers, land owners, engineering offices, authorities, network operators, municipal utilities, manufacturers, investors, tax advisors and lawyers.

Strategy Development I With your ideas and initiative you actively contribute to the green hydrogen strategy of Pacifico. Together with our green hydrogen team you identify, initiate and evaluate new opportunities.

Your Profile

Completed Degree I You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in (industrial) engineering, renewable energy, economics, or similar.

Experience in Renewables Project Development I You already have work experience in the field of renewable energies and/or project development. A basic understanding of hydrogen technologies and markets is a plus.

Communication Skills I With your strong communication and negotiation skills, it is easy for you to approach different stakeholders. You are fluent in Spanish (native / C2 level) and either English or German (C1 level).

Enterpreneurial Mindset I You are motivated to contribute actively to the energy transition and work in a structured and solution-focused way. Moreover, you have high self-initiative and think analytically.
