POSITION OVERVIEW:
Manages Environmental Compliance and UST Testing for the Company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:
· Ensures regulatory compliance by managing UST Testing, Tank & Line Testing and Remediation projects.
· Manages project work scopes and costs through effective negotiation with environmental consultants and regulators.
· Reduces remedial costs by managing environmental consultants.
· Manages projects by utilizing electronic information systems; preparing reports.
· Maintains environmental remediation databases, spreadsheets.
· Promotes compliance by coordinating with company departments including Real Estate, Construction and Operations.
· Minimizes corporate liability by providing assistance with public, regulatory, legal and third party inquiries; providing technical assessment.
· Manages UST testing and compliance activities and special projects by providing technical support.
· Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

· Requires 2+ years of related experience
· Proven work record of knowledge of the compliance regulations
· Experience with UST testing and compliance regulations
· UST Inspector Certification Highly Desired.
· Experience in lieu of Certification and company will provide opportunity for certification.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
