Iconergy is a growing energy efficiency and sustainability company comprised of experienced energy engineering, sustainability, and design/build professionals who have come together through their shared commitment to excellence in program and project management as well as technical skills and delivery.
Iconergy is seeking a sustainability intern responsible for supporting various sustainability consulting projects, including greenhouse gas (GHG) inventories, electric vehicle planning, and emissions reduction target formulation, among others.
These projects will range in size and complexity while balancing internal project deadlines, client needs, and Iconergy’s Project Managers’ needs. Iconergy interns may provide some solutions independently, but will be more frequently called upon to collaborate with and support both colleagues and clients. This position may be based remotely, with occasional travel to the Denver or Boulder offices as requested.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Student seeking part-time internship for the Spring of 2024, full-time for Summer of 2024, and part-time opportunities throughout the subsequent school year.
- Student at the Masters level, working towards a sustainability-related degree.
- Knowledge of sustainability fundamentals, such as GHG emissions and inventories and electric vehicle basics.
- Demonstrated experience with statistical analysis.
- Proven ability to write succinct, accurate reports and summary documents.
- Demonstrated excellence in communication (written and oral) and organizational.
- Moderate-to-advanced skills in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, Access,
- Interest in learning new skills and techniques in a consulting environment.
- Must have access to reliable personal transportation for travel, if requested.
