Assist the Environmental department with managing environmental responsibilities within the Defense business segment.
YOUR IMPACT
- Annual and monthly environmental reporting for WNDR and/or EPA
- Recording and managing data for environmental metrics such as waste, recycling, and energy.
- Stormwater management
- Develop and implement sustainability programs within our facilities
- Travel among the various sites to complete tasks in Oshkosh, WI
- Other projects and duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Student working towards a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Environmental Engineering or technology, environmental science or studies, sustainability or other related field.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Available to work in Oshkosh, WI. This is a year-round internship, so you must live within 50 miles of Oshkosh
STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Able to work in a cross functional team
- Knowledge, experience or interest in sustainability or environmental initiatives
- Experience in extracurricular activities outside academic requirements.
- Previous internship experience
