The annual starting salary range for this position will be in the $47,700 to $49,131 range, depending on experience, education, and relevant skills. Please note that the indicated starting salary range describes the range for an incumbent in this position. Most new staff generally start at the beginning of the range percentile to ensure internal salary equity.

ProgramSummary:
Stewards Individual Placements, East (STE), a program of Conservation Legacy, places individual placements across the nation in projects that build capacity, improve access to natural resources, develop and support innovative solutions, develop opportunities for service and economic development, and empower leaders. The Stewards program is supported by two main National Service programs: AmeriCorps VISTA and AmeriCorps State and National. Stewards Members work with multiple partners to create highly impactful national service projects that fulfill our mission.
PositionSummary:
The Program Coordinator implements and supports initiatives within the Stewards Program. Our national service programming supports programming centered around poverty alleviation, public land management, workforce development, and preservation. This position coordinates program initiatives by interacting with steward management, newly enrolled members,andsitesupervisors.TheProgramCoordinatorensuresallassignedpositions are successfully recruited and oriented to the program before their term starts. The Program Coordinator also provides the members with program policy and procedures and support during the term of service and will fully exit members from the program.The individual assigned to this position will have a portfolio that includes AmeriCorps State and National members, VISTAs (Volunteers In Service To America) and employee participants. A Program Coordinator is responsible for 50 or more member /project sites.

GeneralAdministration

- Provideshigh-levelcustomerservicetopotentialapplicants,currentparticipants, partnering services, and internal staff.
- Will recruitmembers for their assigned portfolios. This includes implementing our Diversity, Equity, and Justice (DEIAJ) goals, screening applicants, posting and tracking open positions, and supporting interviewing when requested/required.
- Ensuresthatdetailsofeachmember’sorientation,duringserviceandexitdocumentsare accurately achieved by complying with internal checks and balances.
- CoordinatesandimplementshiringandexitingsystemswithProgramDirectorsto ensure all member files are compliant with Federal, State and AmeriCorps requirements and expectations.
- Assists Stewards leadership with administrative responsibilities, including participant outreach, internal staff communication, and training.
- AssistswithAmeriCorpshourtrackinganddeliveryofbi-weeklymemberpayroll.
- Tracksandadministersmemberprofessionaldevelopmentfunds.
- Otheradministrativedutiesasassigned.

- Responsible for the member experience from onboarding to exit. This includes conducting check-in calls, reviewing member reports, and scheduling site visits.This requires coordinating each member’s orientation and exiting tasks to ensure they are correctly completed within deadlines.
- Overseesmemberdatatrackingthroughfactoversightandmanagement.
- Ensuresmembersreceivewelcomeemailsandorientations.
- Processesrequiredemploymentpaperworkuponmemberstartdate.
- Answersmemberquestions,engageswithmembersabouttheirterms,professional development, and other growth opportunities.
- Assistssitesupervisorswithrestorativejusticeprocessif neededandispreparedto play a role in conflict mediation, which includes assisting supervisors when a member is not performing OR assisting members when there is a conflict with the supervisor; Assists site supervisors with troubleshooting communication barriers, behavioral issues, or performance issues.
- Workswithsitesupervisorstoassistwithdetailsbefore,duringandaftermember’s terms regarding timesheet approval, programmatic expectations, position details, evaluations, and general timelines.
- CollaborateswithProgramManagertoensureAmeriCorpsslotsareproperlytrackedand filled.
- DocumentsandprocessesincidentsthroughConservationLegacy’sestablishedworkers compensation protocols. Supports the member through any Workers Compensation issues.
- Assists in other member activities, including time sheets, payment disbursement, quantitative and qualitative reports, etc.

- WorkswiththeProgramManagerandProgramDirectortocollect,editandpackage reports for Conservation Legacy, AmeriCorps, and program partners.

PhysicalRequirements:
