Solaredge is looking for an ambitious, tech-savvy, and hungry go-getter Commercial Key Account Sales Manager to join our outstanding French team. If you are hands-on energetic, highly motivated, a real team player, and a driven person who is willing to roll up your sleeves and do your best to guarantee the success of the company and help drive SolarEdge revenue and market share, this position is for you!
What you will be doing:
- Identify and close sales opportunities in accordance with the Company’s overall strategic plans and financial objectives in the region
- Develop and maintain relationships with solar distribution channels, and strategic accounts, investors.
- Actively pursue direct sales leads with installers, distributors and utility companies
- Support and train field sales managers to develop Commercial sales on their areas
- Nurture the relationship with leading PV project developers at all levels to ensure that SolarEdge remains the supplier of choice for their installations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in the company CRM system
- Assist the product management teams to define and improve the product portfolio for use in the French Commercial market by regularly gathering feedback from customers, business partners and closely monitoring industry trends
- Provide input regarding marketing and product positioning strategies specific to the territory
- Successfully execute our brand and messaging strategy and act as an external evangelist of the brand
- Provide revenue forecasts and review sales results to ensure targets are being met; take corrective action where required
- Taking ownership of devising, implementing, and executing a comprehensive commercial strategy that strikes a balance between core business activities and proactive business development. This pivotal role demands the ability to maximize short and long-term success by ensuring a robust conversion of opportunities into successful business outcomes.
- Create partnerships with new corporate customers and support our existing customers’ growth and success
- Develop and manage an account base to achieve sales and margin objectives.
- Build relationships of trust with our customers in collaboration with other team members through open communication
- Reinforce partnerships with all stakeholders of the projects and effectively communicate and deliver on the SolarEdge value proposition
- Implement and continually improve the effectiveness of sales processes, approaches, tools, and metrics to maximize opportunity conversion and forecasting accuracy.
- You will support financial analysis and evaluation of potential projects, creative deal structuring, and new financing strategies
- Represent SolarEdge in public meetings, industry forums, and networking events
- Have a strong understanding of the PV industry, with knowledge of EPC, installer, and distribution channel business models
- 3+ years of Commercial Business Experience
- Previous experience in the PV industry – a must!
- BA/BS degree. BS in a related technical disciplines such as Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering – a plus!
- Solid and verifiable track record of overachievement and successfully growing market share and identifying, negotiating/converting and closing large Euro deals
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand the technical workings of the SolarEdge product line and convey the advanced technical product benefits to potential customers in easy-to-grasp terms.
- Ability to identify and convert new accounts while maintaining existing relationships
- Demonstrated success in operating effectively in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, complex, rapid growth environment
- A distinct customer service focus.
- Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working for an international organization – a plus!
- Fluent in French and English – a must!
