Do you have…
- One (1) year of experience in general repairs; carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting work?
- Proficient in the safe operation of various equipment relevant to the position such as, pressure washer, basic hand tools, table saw, drain cleaning equipment, and other tools specific to facility maintenance?
- Proficient in reading and accurately interpreting measurements using a measuring tape?
- Working knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance?
- Working knowledge and/or willingness to become familiar with applicable computer software programs for job duties?
- Flexibility schedule outside of typical working hours, with the ability and willingness to work occasional nights or weekends, as necessary?
- Ability to maintain a valid driver's license and eighteen years (18) of age with a clear driving record?
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to work outdoors and indoors under all environmental conditions and temperatures.
- Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to transport and move items up to 50 pounds for short distance frequently.
- Ability to ascend/ descend ladders, steps and uneven terrain, while maintaining body equilibrium while performing various jobs.
- Exceptional visual acuity is required, along with the ability to communicate, comprehend and decipher/hear information accurately, using a two-way radio.
- Ability to remain on feet for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to operate motorized cart, trucks, hand and power tools.
- Ability to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities, including any construction site on foot.
- Possess visual and auditory acuity for safety, equipment alarms and discern differences in documents.
- Auditory ability for verbal communication/conversation/responses via telephone, telephone systems, two-way radio, and face-to-face interactions.
- Manual dexterity for standing, reaching, flexibility, and body movement for bending, crouching, walking, kneeling, stoop, bend, lift, kneel, crawl, climb, jump, dig and prolonged standing.
