The Carbon Advisory team combines carbon emissions and policy consultancy with a strong technical engineering emphasis. The Senior Engineer will be responsible for the execution of proposals, studies and projects and provision of advisory services to our clients including:
- Supporting clients understand and quantify their current scope 1, 2 and 3 greenhouse gas emissions performing ‘cradle-to-gate’, ‘cradle-to-grave’ & ‘cradle-to-afterlife’ life cycle assessments and modeling.
- Screening decarbonisation opportunities for supply and demand side reduced carbon intensity solutions across the development life cycle from conceptual design to decommissioning, at a strategic level.
- Work with clients to develop a systematic framework for the management of decarbonisation including defining overarching strategies, plans & detailed roadmaps with key milestones, journey enablers, timeframes, drivers and identifying on-route threats, risks, and uncertainties.
- Performing assessments and advising clients on transitional opportunities and risks, including policy drivers and incentives,
evaluating and advising on offsetting and crediting mechanisms including carbon pricing and providing third party emissions verification services in the energy and mining sectors, assessing the resiliency of client’s assets and projects for climate change impacts.
